Insurance
The Other Road Counseling’s therapists are able to see clients who are covered by insurance and/or those who would prefer to pay out of pocket.
What Insurance does The Other Road Counseling accept?
We currently accept Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, United Health Care, Cigna, Medicaid (Rocky Mountain Health Plan, CCHA and Colorado Access), Medicare and Tri-Care East/Tri-Care West for insurances. We also accept private pay.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about rates and billing. Our current rate is $100.00 per session. We do offer a sliding scale based on financial need. If we do not offer your insurance at the moment, please let me know and we will work with you to make sure that cost is not preventing you from getting help.
What if my insurance is not accepted?
That is okay! If you would like to see one of our counselors even though we do not take your insurance, we can provide you with a “superbill” that you can submit to your insurance provider. If the services are accepted by your insurance, they would then reimburse you at their out-of-network rate.
